The Marketing Technology Consultant plays a critical role in driving their technology agenda forward focusing on enabling and scaling our segmentation and analytics technologies. The Marketing Technology Consultant partners with their Enterprise and Divisional IT development teams and Marketing organization to bring forward a vision for leveraging technology within the Financial Advisory Services division. The consultant is key to identifying a clear set of use cases, implementation priorities and enablement strategies to ensure the successful implementation, adoption and optimization of our marketing technology stack.

The team is currently seeking a team member with a strong digital analytics background. The ideal candidate will possess hands on experience of key technologies in the Adobe suite, with knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Launch and Audience Manager or AEP strongly preferred. The Technology Consultant is an expert business user of the Adobe suite and often plays a hands-on role in implementation and configuration activities. Additionally, they will have a strong marketing, advertising and analytics acumen that enables them to effectively understand the needs of and partner with marketing & sales professionals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with colleagues in marketing, information technology and external agencies to translate the Enterprise 3-5 year technology roadmap into an executable vision for the Financial Advisory Services business.
  • Builds and executes a technology enablement strategy, leveraging strong project / program management skills to bring activities into focus. The strategy includes the people, process, and culture changes that need to occur to optimally use the technology.
  • Works with business partners to identify key use cases to inform an incremental rollout plan.
  • Ensures there are clear outcomes associated with investments and that progress against outcomes is being met.
  • Continuously looks for opportunities to optimize sales and marketing outcomes leveraging the marketing technology stack. Addresses the people, process and technology gaps that limit taking advantage of existing aspects of the marketing tech stack.
  • Provides leadership for a working team responsible for serving as the Center for Excellence for digital analytics implementation.
  • Partners with IT development teams on requirements; defines an implementation strategy and executes on that strategy ensuring deliveries are in-line with the key use cases. 
  • Collaborates with Enterprise Marketing Platform team to enable self-provisioning of Adobe Analytics within the Financial Advisor Services group.
  • Partners with Advertising teams and agencies to setup and manage data sources, segments, traits and destinations in Adobe Audience Manager. 

Requirements:

  • Five years related work experience. Three years of experience in business technology preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Digital Marketing business acumen preferred
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud, most notably with Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Target.
