Our client enables next-generation clinical trials through data-driven products, including its flagship product, a tech-enabled risk-based monitoring solution and a clinical operations benchmarking tool. This aggregates and delivers real-time data from disparate trial data sources, predicts issues during clinical development to mitigate trial risks, and empowers monitoring teams by visualizing critical study data. Empowering clinical teams to benchmark clinical trial performance and analyze vital indicators of trial success and failure.

About the Opportunity

Now more than ever, improving the speed and reducing the cost of drug development is a top priority for the biopharma and healthcare industry, and our client is leveraging their unique dataset and advanced analytics to do just that.

We are seeking a thoughtful, hands-on, and output-oriented data scientist with an aptitude for or strong interest in clinical trial data to join the rapidly growing Data Science team. Working closely with the Engineering and Product teams, you will use a one-of-a-kind trial dataset to build modern, tech-enabled trial delivery products, powered by your predictive models.

Data Science is a key competency, so you will be instrumental in setting and executing upon the vision for differentiation in the clinical research industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test and integrate your predictive models into our product. Think anomaly detection for key risk indicators and Bayesian forecasting models for patient enrollment modeling.
  • Develop tools to enable scalable practices across the growing Data Science team. Think model and query optimization, re-usable internal libraries, and process improvements.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and produce easy-to-understand visualizations highlighting key insights.
  • Take an active role in defining the development roadmap and deliverables for the Data Science team in an integrated agile product development process.
  • Work in a small team setting partnering with engineers and scientists to derive the insights needed to support our products and product features, including informing Commercial strategy.
  • Mentor and be mentored by data scientists of varied experience levels and subject matter areas.
